Credentialing and Compliance Specialist
We’re Hiring – ECMStaffing is looking for an experienced healthcare Credentialing and Compliance Specialist to join our growing team!

ECMStaffing is a travel nurse agency, headquartered in the PNW and founded in 2001. We’re continually focused on recruiting and hiring experienced RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, and Allied Health Professionals for travel, local and per diem assignments. ECMStaffing has been a Joint Commission Certified Healthcare Staffing Agency since 2006.
BASIC JOB FUNCTION
As a Credentialing and Compliance Specialist, you’ll be responsible for maintaining all documentation for our healthcare professionals, ensuring they meet Company and Joint Commission requirements.
JOB DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Serve as the main point of contact for Company document compliancy
- Responsible for on-boarding new hire applicants
- Maintain credentialing files for new applicants throughout the hiring process
- Verify employment histories and process background screenings
- Coordinate drug testing and medical services
- Review and track incoming paperwork and electronic documentation
- Ensure applicant documents are uploaded accurately and timely into online database systems
- Communicate by telephone, email, and text with healthcare professionals to ensure all required documentation is received in a timely manner
- Provide instructions for certification renewals and medical services
- Audit existing staff member files and monitor for expiring documents and credentials
- Assist healthcare professionals in locating documents and certifications
- Evaluate and maintain positive working relationships with Company credentialing partners by keeping them informed of employee’s expiring documents and ETA’s on completion
- Provide traveling healthcare professionals with First Day and Timekeeping Instructions (FDI’s)
- Other assigned office duties as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Healthcare credentialing and compliance experience
- Able to work remotely from home. Computer and office equipment is provided
- Must be very detail oriented, organized and be able to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient with computers, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and online databases
- Strong communication skills – verbal, phone, and written
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor and ability to build relationships with candidates and colleagues
- Ability to be self-starter and highly motivated
- Work independently with high attention to detail and the ability to follow-through

- Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:00pm PST
