Our Team would like to Welcome! you to Emerald City Medical Staffing, Inc. Our corporation was formed by the joining of a dynamic, very driven and extremely professional group of business people. Amongst our partners there is:

Currently we provide services to clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. We are exploring the option of expanding into other communities throughout the State of Washington.

Shalonda Minks,
Director:

Ms. Minks has worked in the medical staffing industry since 1992. Starting in 2001, with the aid of her partners, she has been responsible for the daily functions and management of the office for Emerald City Medical Staffing, Inc. Ms. Minks enjoys marketing and recruitment making this her primary focus in the office. By closely managing the daily functions of the office and the field staff she has helped Emerald City Medical Staffing, Inc grow and mature to the dynamic business that it is today.

By actively working in the medical staffing industry, Ms. Minks has developed and fine tuned a deep understanding of the nursing profession crisis. In previous positions Ms. Minks has been responsible for processing payroll for an employee base of 500 nursing professionals, opened and operated a staffing agency office, managed a nurse roster to include over 125 nursing professionals, traveled to other states to help troubled offices, recruited and marketed for various employment positions.

Ms. Minks has a very determined and honest work ethic. She believes that running an honest company is the only way to be successful long term. She is extremely dedicated to the industry and strives to continually educate herself to the current events in the medical profession. Ms. Minks has enjoyed molding the office and the personnel associated with the company into the smooth functioning business it is today. With guidance from the partners collectively we have developed a fast growing corporation. Ms. Minks looks forward to many more years of working hand in hand with our communities and medical professionals in resolving the nursing crisis.

Jennifer Minks,
Financial Manager:

Mrs. Minks comes to our corporation experienced in the medical profession since 1996. Mrs. Minks primary responsibilities include payroll processing, invoice processing, accounts receivable/payable and managing all accounting for the functions of the office. She also oversees the tedious management of the monthly auditing of all the field staff’s credentials and personnel files.

Mrs. Minks has worked in clerical, administrative and patient care departments for medical facilities in our area. This vast experience has proven extremely beneficial to Emerald City Medical Staffing, Inc.
Previous to coming to Emerald City Medical Staffing, Inc Mrs. Minks has managed the finances for another local company. She is extremely detailed and a very important part of our team.

Mrs. Minks has strong work ethics and believes that hard work partnered with determination and ambitious goals are the keys to success. She is also a firm believer in open communication and honesty. She is a fantastic team member helping with the daily functions of our corporation. Emerald City Medical Staffing, Inc relies on her positive influence and contribution to the corporation in helping us ultimately obtain our goals in business.

Micah Minks,
Recruitment Manager:

Mr. Minks is joining our team with a great deal of knowledge in sales and business. He will be responsible for the recruitment role in our company. Mr. Minks is very excited about the possibilities his experience will provide in this role.

His willingness to learn about the medical industry and the staffing solutions a company as ours could provide has already proven very successful. His recruitment efforts have brought tremendous results. We have increased our new hires by 150% since January 2006.

Now that Emerald City Medical Staffing is a JCAHO certified organization/company, Mr. Minks knows the importance of recruiting and retaining highly qualified medical professionals. In his endeavors to attract qualified individuals, he has begun to research the latest technology in staffing solutions and credentialing methods for medical staffing companies. As a result we anticipate implementing some new allied health professions, a new scheduling system and computerized credentialing/annual update modules in the near future.

We are pleased to have such a successful, ambitious and capable addition to our office team.
